Covering a favourite song and an original song inspired/similar to the cover song🎧
“God is a Woman”
Sung by such an iconic vocalist and the topical song representing the time when women's power is debated over so many issues, this was a challenge for me. After many takes, I tried to sing in a laid-back, relaxed way to suit my own range and style.
"Butterfly"
I wrote this with Swedish pop legends Douglas Carr and Meja, and the words "nobody's born a butterfly" "now would be my time to fly" celebrates independent women. In that sense, the theme is similar to "God is a Woman". In the music video, we asked independent women to give a message to themselves 10 years ago, an inspiring project that brought this song to life!

“ゴッド・イズ・ア・ウーマン”
『神は女性』という大胆なタイトルのこの曲。女性の権利や尊厳を巡る問題が未だに起きる時代にとって、大事なテーマの歌。自分のスタイルに合うよう、何度も歌い直したバージョンです。
"バタフライ”
アルバムI（アイ）より。スウェーデンで巨匠、ダグラス・カーと憧れのメイヤと共作した曲で、『蝶々も始めから羽を持って生まれる訳ではない、色々な事を乗り越えて、羽ばたく時は今』という前向きな女性讃美のメッセージを込めた歌。ミュージックビデオでは、独立して好きな事にチャレンジする女性達に、10年前の自分へのメッセージを聞いた。
