A beautiful opening for a beautiful anime! I'm getting close to the end of the first season of Aria and it's been a good ride! The atmosphere is truly beautiful and one thing about this opening that is so perfect is that it is fits the tone of the anime 101% so serious kudos. I always get excited to sit back and relax to Aria the Animation with the opening.

Unfortunately, recording this was anything but relaxing xD I think I did about 50 takes (1 was good, but found out the mic was picking up the piano vibrations so had to start all over with different setup). One of the hardest things about recording this was also the simplicity of the song - easy, but thus highlighting the pure importance of every single note. So whenever I rushed a note in the left hand or played a bit in the right hand a teensy bit too rough, I redid the take. If the phrasing wasn't absolutely gorgeous, I had to stop because it wouldn't do the song justice.

Outside of recording though, I did a quick edit job but I really like what I did this time around with the video so very satisfied with the finished product.

Glad to be recording again! It feels like it's been a long time since I've uploaded my actual playing but since I'm on summer break, it's the time!
