Argonne National Laboratory | Argonne OutLoud: Back to the Future: 75 Years at the Forefront of Peaceful Nuclear Energy @ArgonneLab | Uploaded 2 years ago | Updated 4 minutes ago
Although Argonne National Laboratory today is distinguished by the breadth, depth, and impact of its multidisciplinary research, Argonne was founded 75 years ago with a research focus on nuclear energy. In this installment of Argonne's OutLoud series, three of the laboratory's leading nuclear scientists discuss its founding mission and its legacy in the fascinating research they are doing with partners around the globe to advance nuclear science in a peaceful way.

Join John Stevens, a nuclear reactor physicist, Laura Jamison, a materials scientist and nuclear engineer, and Mark Williamson, director of Argonne’s Chemical and Fuel Cycle Technologies Division, who moderates the discussion.

The OutLoud Lecture Series highlights Argonne’s cutting-edge research and pivotal discoveries that meet some of the world’s most complex challenges. A diverse range of topics are discussed including climate change impact, artificial intelligence advances, and energy innovation.
