“We Are Argonne” tells the lab’s story through the eyes of our best storytellers: the diverse members of our world-class community of talent, our unsung heroes.

Meet Jared Sagoff. As a mentor, Jared is enthusiastic about sharing his passions, such as writing and science, with others. He admires the dedication of mentees who are always seeking ways to grow and improve. Jared finds joy in seeing the world through others’ perspectives, making the mentoring experience enriching for everyone involved.
Mentoring, coaching, and guiding our employees is something that we do all year long. Employees at Argonne can sign up to be a mentor, or a mentee, so that our workforce is supported and can develop new skills on their professional development journey.
