If you're upset about Trump extending $20 Billion to stave off the self inflicted crisis in Argentina by Libertarian wonder boy Milei, just be aware that he was doing nothing different then pretty much any other leader that loyally does what the World Bank and International Monetary Fund tells them to which is privatize state assets, sell off natural resources, devalue the currency and apply brutal austerity to the population in order to maximize paying off the usurious debts that are borrowed from international lenders. Like other crisis points, the bailouts are for the lenders, not the countries in question. Argentina isn't going to see a dime. It was interesting to read about the circumstances of the severe economic problems a lot of countries were facing in 1893 caused by the default of Argentina on a loan by Barings Bros. for a water and sewage company in Buenos Aires.
