Area 51 is a light gun arcade video game. Developed by Mesa Logic and published by Atari Games in 1995. The game's plot revolves around Area 51 being attacked by the alien race known as Kronns. They are turning the facility's workers into zombie-like creatures. To prevent the further expansion of aliens, the player must join the military group named the STAAR and fight back these intergalactic scumbags.
NoirStation Rating: - 3 Out Of 5 - Originally this was made for arcades, not Playstation in mind. So all the graphics and cinematics have been very heavily rendered down. While a short game in a classical retro video game trope they sure make it as difficult as possible. Almost as if it's arcade cousin needs your coins. The game's selling point is definitely its presentation, multiple secrets and easter eggs. Other than that it works great, there are no hard bugs or other issues.
