Systane Ultra PF issued a recall on a specific log number. This was due to a possible fungal contamination. In the last few years, there have been a few serious recalls made on some eye drops that were causing some serious eye infections. Recently, those past recalls were with off-brand drops that weren't very well known, but still sold over-the-counter. But, Systane is a well-known brand. This now raises the question, how do you know if the drops you are using are safe to use? Where do you go for information about eye drop recalls? Which drops do the fda recall, and are there any drops with reports of contamination? This video goes over some tips of what you can look for in drops, but ultimately where you can find the information.
