This is a channel dedicated to my home country - Scotland - and sharing its story with the world. I’ll be sharing all the best stories I can find with you right here on a weekly basis - so subscribe on the button to not miss out.
Scotland has becoming increasingly popular as a travel destination over the past decade, winning a number of international awards.
We have some of the most incredible landscapes in the world, beautiful locations, rich history, stunning architecture, great food, wonderful people and so much more, and I want to use this space to share all of the things I know about my wee country with the world.
So welcome in! It’s great to see you here, and I hope I can help provide some inspiration for your next trip, or some nostalgia for trips gone by, or merely help you connect with a place you love as much as I do for whatever reason.
I am a vlogger from Edinburgh in Scotland, and sharing stories on the internet has been my main thing for a number of years. My main YouTube channel - @shaunvlog - which started as a travel channel, morphed into a Scotland channel, then morphed again to share my travels of America, is my main gig.
But through adapting that channel, it did leave a hole. I love my home country of Scotland, and love sharing its stories. @shaunalexmedia - which exists as this newsletter, a YouTube Channel, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook page, is my plan to put that right.
