For the last couple of years, maybe longer I've been wondering if the Historical Wargames Magazines that I subscribe to are worth it anymore.
Too often I find myself flicking through them and not interested in anything they go in the bin 20 mins after they land in the post box.
I cover three Magazines Miniature Wargames, Wargames Illustrated and Wargames Soldiers and Strategy. I've not used the latest editions as I don't want to give people free access to all of the magazine, my thoughts are if you were going to buy them you would have done already.
I mention the Robin Hood Cover on the latest WI as potentially being AI, I understand it is human drawn on digital software, so apologies to the artist. However I still think its poor for the front cover of a magazine that has had some shockers recently.
Remember this is an old school Gamer giving an opnion, if you love Badgers in Greek Hoplite Uniforms with Machine Guns and hover boards you may have a different opnion
