California Rep. Jared Huffman joins Boiling Point host Miranda Green to explain President Donald Trump's recent billion dollar settlements with offshore wind developers.
Huffman argues that the settlements were a "sham" and are illegally being taken from a federal fund. As a lawyer, Huffman says he believes they'll fail in court. He argues that the wind developers who took the deals are also at fault, for taking the deals too easily, despite their climate commitments.
