You've probably seen enough comparisons between the LSR305 and 305P mk2 to know the former is quite plainly a more neutral speaker, but I haven't seen anyone apply this split L/R recording methodology (kudos to AP Mastering) for an actually semi-objective source audio vs recorded speaker audio comparison, to get any sort of real grasp on the LSR305's actual performance. Since I had this microphone pointed at the monitor for unrelated reasons, I thought I might as well give it a try.
