In this video, I step outside my usual combat MMO comfort zone and try Club M Star gameplay, a social dancing MMO that brings back strong early 2000s internet café vibes.
For players who remember games like Audition, Highstreet 5, or O2Jam, this one feels instantly familiar — but modernized for 2026.
As someone who usually plays sword-heavy, boss-fight MMOs, trying a rhythm-based social MMO is completely different. But after spending time with it, I started to understand why dance MMOs were so popular — and why they might be rising again.
Club M Star isn’t just about dancing. The gameplay includes:
🌸 Social interaction
🌸 Hanging out in digital spaces
🌸 Fishing and side activities
🌸 Competitive rhythm battles
🌸 Customization and identity
🌸 Playing together with friends
Right now, there is also a Friend Invitation Event running.
If you join Club M Star and connect with other players using invite codes, you and your partner can complete missions together and earn rewards. Since I just started, I can’t generate my own invite code yet — so if you’re already playing, feel free to share yours in the comments and we can test the event properly.
Another interesting aspect is that Club M Star is part of the CROSS platform, which is building toward a shared ecosystem currency. Activity in one CROSS title may connect to a broader MMO ecosystem — something I’m personally watching closely as a traditional combat MMO player.
