Singapore is said to be generally safe but is it really? Regarding pick-pocketing, a lot of the Japanese online articles tell us to be highly alert as "pick-pocketing happens very often at crowded places". To find out if that is true, I window-shopped for an hour at Singapore's most crowded location. I also choped with $50 cash, dropped my wallet and left my laptop unattended. The result?
