“Stronghold: Definitive Edition is the original BAFTA-nominated ‘castle sim’, rebuilt using the source artwork, music, returning voice actors and original developers of the very first game in the series. Stronghold: DE introduces modernised gameplay, customisable community-requested features, Steam multiplayer, Workshop support and more.


The game features two classic campaigns, as well as a new 14 mission narrative campaign designed by Firefly founders Simon Bradbury and Eric Ouellette. This is alongside fresh multiplayer maps and a 10 mission ‘Castle Trail’, which features historical castles such as Warwick, Dunnottar and Marksburg.
