I turn back the clock and find the best classic and vintage backpacking gear on the internet. I took all this old-school gear out in Eastern Arizona's White Mountains while a tropical storm was moving through the Southwest, which made for a good time to test the old gear and see how it all holds up and how it compares to today's ultralight modern gear.
