I grabbed a box of old photos from my house today and started looking through them, which got me thinking about how different taking photos was when I was a kid.
You’d take a photo, have no idea how it had turned out, then wait days to get the film developed and finally see what you’d captured.
Now I’ve got endless photos from the past 20 years sitting on my phone, buried in a camera roll, or hidden away in folders on my computer.
So what should I actually do with them? Print them? Make photo books? Use digital frames? Build a proper archive? Or just accept that most of our lives now live inside devices we barely organise?
So while going through some old photos and sharing them with you for some laughs, I’d love to hear about your relationship with photos too. How often do you take them? What do you do with them afterwards? And what are the best ways of bringing them back out of the digital pile?
