Before we even touch the multiverse, we have to look at the Internet Wrestling Community (IWC). Pro wrestling fans have become notorious for complaining about every storyline pivot. Whether it's demanding instant title changes or whining about the booking of top stars like Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Jey Uso, fans often decide a story is "ruined" before it even reaches its climax. This exact same toxic impatience is bleeding directly into how we consume superhero media. Are we reacting, or are we just rushing?
Kara's Sacrifice & The 'My Adventures of Superman' Arc
Fans are losing their minds over the brand new episode of My Adventures with Superman Season 3 that just dropped. Following Kara Zor-El's massive sacrifice, social media is raging with people convinced she has been killed off, threatening to riot if she actually dies. But if these impatient fans actually did a little research—whether checking AI sites like Gemini or just paying attention to the actual dialogue—they would know she isn't dead! She is simply unconscious, exactly like she was at the end of last season when she was massively injured and didn't wake up for a couple of days before being completely fine. From a purely narrative standpoint, it makes absolutely zero sense for the writers to bring her in, give her all this incredible character growth, and then just take her out that easily—especially in the third-to-last episode of the season! But despite the intense storylines, like the Acolytes and Exodus stepping up in the recently dropped Episode 7, the series is facing a severe ratings flop, entirely failing to crack the Nielsen streaming top ten. It is definitely confusing how she is suddenly ceasing to be Venom despite their previous molecular fusion, which feels like a massive compromise driven by relentless fan backlash. Hopefully, she at least retains that creative, shape-shifting potential in her new producer role at Watson Productions. The long game is shifting, and fans need to wait and see how this payoff actually works!
