Are Catholics Christians? What Actually Defines a Christian?

When someone asks, “Are Catholics Christians?” or “Are Protestants saved?” — what are we really asking?
In this video, I reflect on a formative moment from my early conversion when I was told Catholics weren’t real Christians — and I unpack what actually defines a Christian. Is it theological precision? Baptism? Church membership? Correct doctrine? Or something deeper?
I argue that at its core, a Christian is someone who follows Jesus — and that has implications for Catholics, Protestants, and even those who’ve never heard His name.
