Black Bolt and White Flare Pokemon Cards released in July of 2025 to a lot of excitement in the Pokemon Community. The idea of a dedicated Gen 5 Pokemon Card Set filled with amazing Illustration Rares of every Gen 5 Pokemon was something many Pokemon Fans were looking forward to. The main problem with the set, is that there are a ton of Pokemon Cards to collect. Even with Pokemon Card Pull Rates being significantly easier in Black Bolt White Flare, the vast variety of Illustration Rares in the set make it more dificult to collect than just about any Scarlet and Violet Master Set throughout the entire block. With Pokemon Card reprints continuing to focus on Prismatic Evolutions, Scarlet and Violet 151, and soon to be Ascended Heroes, Black Bolt and White Flare seems to have drawn the short straw.
