UPDATE: it only works with the Java-based Legacy IDE (version 1.8.x). The newer Node.js based 2.x is not supported.

I created a tool for Arduino IDE that saves Arduino serial output into a CSV file. You can then open the saved file with Microsoft Excel or Libre Office. It works on all platforms where Arduino IDE runs (Windows, Mac, Linux).
