We walk through connecting to the game and create a new character. I also give a quick explanation of the different Classes, Races, and Alignments and how they work within the game. For a more in-depth overview please check out the Races and Classes sections on the main ArcticMUD site. During character creation there is a WARNING that I didn't go over. Essentially if you want to logon from different domains (think ISPs/Locations) then remember to enter "opt domain 0" without quotes once you're in the game. Otherwise, when you go to your friends how to show them this sweet game you may not be able to login.
From the command prompt (PC) or terminal window (MAC):
telnet mud.arctic.org 2700
