In this video, I'm using one of my Archfiend decks that utilises the standard Emperor/Empress combo, in addition to the Summoned Skull monsters such as Archfiend's Manifestation and Archfiend's Awakening! This is my Archfiends vs Ogdoadic duel for the May 2021 format! Although I'm sad that Abhyss got changed to Ogdoadic, it's still a very interesting deck and certainly one I'd consider playing.
My deck takes advantage of Archfiend Empress' summoning power in addition to excellent fiend support such as Tour Guide from the Underworld, Fiendish Rhino Warrior and Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss! Being able to maintain high level fiends on the field whilst also benefitting from destruction effects is the main gameplay feature of Archfiends. The side strategy can be flexible with this deck, whether that's Dingirsu for sending, Zeus, or some generic Extra Deck monsters such as Zombiestein and Starving Venom Fusion Dragon.
Ogdoadic are very good at floating. Being reptiles, they have fantastic support in the way of Snake Rain, being able to send 4 straight to the graveyard! They have a variety of floating and search effects that can easily establish a full board off of just one card. They can also hand rip through Aron, the Ogdoadic King and send from the field to the grave through Amunessia, the Ogdoadic Queen. Their other boss monster, Ogdoabyss, the Ogdoadic Overlord, can blow up monsters that weren't special summoned from the grave, which is fairly powerful alongside it's 3.1k body! This deck is truly a force to be reckoned with.
