In this video, I'm using one of my Archfiend decks that utilises the standard Emperor/Empress combo, in addition to the serarching capabilities of Pandemonium, the first field spell for Archfiends! Pandemonium gets its search effect when your Archfiend monsters get destroyed by a card effect, and it's not once per turn. This is my Archfiends vs Myutants duel for the May 2021 format!
My deck takes advantage of Archfiend Empress' summoning power in addition to excellent fiend support such as Tour Guide from the Underworld, Fiendish Rhino Warrior and Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss! Being able to maintain high level fiends on the field whilst also benefitting from destruction effects is the main gameplay feature of Archfiends. The side strategy can be flexible with this deck, whether that's Dingirsu for sending, Zeus, or some generic Extra Deck monsters such as Zombiestein and Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. Pandemonium helps to keep your hand healthy so that you can make best use of Call of the Archfiend, and your Dark Spirits.
Myutants are a banish focused deck that brings out powerful creatures that become immune to certain effects, can negate cards and bring out several smaller monsters each turn. The deck showcased in this video also takes advantage of the Thunder Dragon cards, using powerful spells such as Thunder Dragon Fusion to bring out monsters such as Thunder Dragon Titan.
This is another of my Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Commentaries series where I showcase some interesting duels that I play online.
I also missed adding Knightmare Unicorn in the decklist! Woops!
