Glad this fight became more engaging in this version.
Although not necessarily harder, it just isn't going to be the same attacks to the main shadow only and the summoned allies mechanic has a purpose now. The timer is also now something to consider. I managed to beat it first try with only 7 seconds left but I opted to do it again because I used Balms of Life in that run. With some more optimization ideas in terms of using Shift as shown here and item usage, I managed to cut it to almost 2 minutes left. Junpei being the star of the show. And Jack Frost.
My only gripe with this boss fight is that it seems that the Priestess' moveset is almost completely deterministic. As I have compared the runs I did and she did almost the exact same movements, assuming I killed the summoned Tiaras the same way. This is a kind of design that I do not particularly like at all. On the other hand, though. This makes using Jack Frost here all the more consistent. The only way to optimize this is to give Jack Frost Tarunda himself from Orpheus via fusion. And giving him Agi using a skill card if you do not want to use Maragi gems.
