Neo Game Oasis @ Chip Mong Sen Sok Phnom Penh ๐ฐ๐ญ was my first arcade stop in Cambodia, and I honestly had no idea what to expect going in.
This arcade is mostly filled with brand new machines, with very little to no retro arcade presence. Most of the games are modern Chinese arcade cabinets and redemption-style machines.
One interesting detail is a CRT TV display setup inside the arcade, which stands out compared to the otherwise modern lineup.
There are also a few more bespoke or unique machines mixed in, but the overall focus is clearly on newer, mass-produced arcade hardware.
The standout machine here is normally a Pump It Up Phoenix cabinet, which is a big draw for rhythm game players. However, at the time of filming it was not available because it was being used for a local tournament, though it is usually part of the arcade lineup.
As a first impression of Cambodia's arcade scene, this location feels very modern and rhythm-game friendly, but heavily shifted away from classic arcade variety.
