Composed by Tsukasa Masuko, arranged by... me! Also known as Ginza in SMT 3, Traffic in SMT IV, or probably some other version I'm forgetting. I didn't expect to upload another cover so soon, but I'm glad to get to share more nonetheless. I picked up Trilian (a bass VST) fairly recently and made this to sort of test it out. I remember hearing Shogi Meguro used this VST for Persona 5 so I wanted to try and make something in his style. After finishing it I decided I was happy enough with how it came out to upload onto here. I'm still figuring stuff out, but so far I'm rather happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this VST to anyone looking for a good bass sound for your projects. As always because I'm still a relative novice, feedback is greatly appreciated!
I based this arrangement half around the original and half around the SMT 3 arrangement of the song. The drums are a bit more akin to Meguro's earlier drum sound as opposed to his Persona 5 one, mostly due to my own personal preference. The guitars are just random loops I selected and layered over each other (guitars are notoriously difficult to program if you're trying to make them sound good or realistic and I don't really have any great guitar VSTs, so I didn't have too many options in that regard.) The key of the song was shifted up from D sharp to E; from what I recall by default the lowest note that can be played on a bass is E1 and since Persona 5's soundtrack has a sort of jazz band feel I wanted this song to be playable without much adjustment to the tuning of the bass. I don't play bass personally so please correct me if I'm wrong lol.
