ARBURG has developed the industrial AKF process along with the freeformer on the basis of approx. 60 years of know-how in the plastics processing and machine manufacturing business. Standard granulates are melted as in the injection moulding process and the desired parts are being produced from miniscule droplets from 3D CAD files.
