It's been so long since I've vidded this pairing - a good two or three years in fact? I've only ever uploaded one of those videos at any rate, but I recently rewatched the series in preparation for DoS and had a LOT of feelings. I don't ship them romantically but in a complex relationship based on need, a desire for completion, and escapism. Not a lot of that can be expressed from the films alone but I tried haha. This song is brilliant and fits this fandom so well. I first heard it used in the legendarium when YT user egoscsajszy used it in a Thorin/Thranduil vid. Hope everyone enjoys! :)
