IGFA's Passports to Fishing Program
The Passports to Fishing program will be IGFA’s signature hands-on and interactive method teaching kids to fish. The “fishing clinics in a box” starter kits will include: curriculum, education station materials to teach basic tackle, knot tying, conservation, environmental stewardship, casting and angling safety, and 20 rods and reels for young anglers to test their newly acquired skills by going fishing.

The IGFA has created the Passports to Fishing program as one way to accomplish our 80th anniversary initiative of teaching 100,000 kids around the world to fish. These “fishing clinics in a box” are equipped with everything needed to conduct an angling education event for youth and their families including educational curriculum, station signage, education station materials, rods and reels, starter tackle, and more.
