In this video, I'm demonstrating my technique I'm developing to play quarter tones and
other micro-tonal intervals on a regular non modified guitar. No messing with the fretboard or tuning, the technique is completely done by holding a string bent and sounding a note. The technique is called melodic prebending. I do a little improvisation, rock licks and some traditional arabic inspired melodies with Bayati, Rast, Neutral Blues, Neutral, and my own Arabic Major scale. Please note, I was nervous so I made alot of mistakes and the technique is still in it's rough stages so bare with me, it's difficult to learn to correctly play notes just by bending a string. All this is done be ear. Enjoy!
