A few years ago when I started practising lucid dreaming, there was one lucid dream in which I had intended to play my piano. When I sat down to play in that dream, something was odd: all of the keys were playing wrong notes, totally random. I was a little disappointed but then I said "show me something amazing!" First nothing happened but as I was just about to leave, the piano began playing itself: A very complex piece which I couldn't remember upon awakening. I was totally baffled and thought "wow, this kind of complex music is in my head but my fingers aren't able to let it come out?" From that day on my relationship to playing piano had changed and I'd soon start taking lessons - my first music lessons ever. Now, almost three years later I'm able to play something similar to what probably had appeared in that dream... and there has rarely been a day since then that I wouldn't have been hitting some keys! I wonder if Debussy was a lucid dreamer, too! What are your thoughts on my interpretation?
