One of the most rewarding aspects of the R&D process is sharing our advanced optics technology with esteemed industry peers and receiving their invaluable feedback. Dr. Julie Frish, Magic Leap’s Senior Research Engineer for Waveguide Materials, attended the Society for Information Display's @DisplayWeek to showcase some of our latest innovations in polymer and glass waveguides. Our glass waveguides are engineered to deliver a larger Field of View (FOV), enhancing immersion and providing a more expansive visual experience. Our polymer waveguides introduce significant improvements in durability, weight, and cost, making them a versatile and practical choice for a wide range of applications. As the Augmented Reality (AR) landscape evolves, Magic Leap remains committed to creating groundbreaking experiences that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
