After the return you notice both what has changed, and what remains intact
Aquila may have been one of the first tracks I worked on while streaming. The theme of thunder and lightning really influenced this one, I wanted the intro to sound like you had just pierced through a storm and were all of a sudden overlooking a familiar, but changed landscape. This song defines the album for me, there's plenty of electronic elements but it's all fused and interlaced with organic sounds and atmospheres. I love exploring that boundary between what we can identify as acoustic and electronic.
