I started this aquarium 3 months ago. It has become my favourite because it is very stable and hardly needs any attention. The monstera is doing very well and growing nicely. The big plant takes all the excess nutrients out of the water, so the tank doesn't algae at all. I change the water a couple of times a month, then add a little liquid ferts and feed my fish a couple of times a week. Since there are few fish in the tank (3 pieces trichogaster lalius), supplemental feeding is necessary. At first it was strange to me that there were no plants under the water, but I don't miss them at all. I really like this aquarium, it has a really natural look and is very easy to live with. I recommend you to try it out!
