Wow, this was so unexpected, I caught 3 SD40-2s, two SD70ms, a SD9043Mac, and UP 2001 all in one day! Geoff is gonna hate me for this one! Ok so yesterday I decided to go out to do a little bit of railfanning, thinking I wouldnt catch a thing! The first train I caught had a SD70M, a SD9043MAC, and a SD40-2s, which I thought was pretty good! So I waited about 30 minutes to see if anything else would come. When nothing came, I started off for home, and about halfway home I heard a horn. So I ran back to my spot, set the tripod back up, and sure enough UP 2001 was leading! I was not expecting that one! WOW! PLEASE COMMENT RATE AND FAVORITE!
Both trains caught on the Alberta Lea Sub in Albert Lea MN at MP 252.37 between Newton Ave, Front St, and Broadway Ave.

$Must See! Soo Line GP40 and SD60 in Winona MN! Railfanning the CP River Sub December 2010. Here are a couple trains I saw from my trip to Winona MN on December 28th. It was an awesome trip, and in just over 10 hours I saw almost 20 trains with a plethora of rare power including a handful of SOO SD60s, GP38-2s, GP40s, CP DM&E and CITX SD40-2s, Several cabooses, and both Amtrak number 7 and Amtrak number 8.
