Marcella and her books | April TBR Game | #TransGirlApril, Queer Reads (and Steinbeck) @marcellaandherbooks8733 | Uploaded March 2023 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
I use my TBR Game to create a pile of books I might read in April.
You can learn more about the game in this video:

PEOPLE AND VIDEOS MENTIONED:
In this video I mention the #TransGirlApril readathon hosted by
@CestKevvie and @WillowTalksBooks
Sometimes events happening around queer rights and especially trans rights in other countries can feel outrageous and outlandish to someone living in The Netherlands. However, this has also shown me that any acquired rights people have, but especially queer people, and especially trans people can be taken away, even over here, if we don't keep on fighting for it.
I have made a donation to Transvisie, a non profit organisation providing support and information for trans and genderqueer folk in The Netherlands and I plan to read and support trans and genderqueer authors and creaters during April and beyond.
