Powering through the skies of Disneyland in California's Tomorrowland, the Rocket Rods take guests on a thrilling journey like no other! Rather than walk, the Rocket Rods is Tomorrow's answer to high-speed travel whether it's from the airport or your own house! Interweaving through multiple of Tomorrowland's original and newer structures, Disneyland Park's Rod Rods takes guests up to a thrilling speed of 35 miles an hour, making it one of the fastest attractions at Disneyland Park! Like a famous brand name sports car, the Rocket Rods will take you on a thrilling journey high-up in the Tomorrowland skies as you ride on top and through many of the unique sights of the land! Feel the speed as the Rocket Rods hit a maximum speed of 35 miles for a grand total of 5 seconds on top of the old PeopleMover track! Opening in 1998, the Rocket Rods have thrilled guests for a long 120 days before it was mysteriously closed to the public for maintenance reasons. Operating once again on April 1st, 2024 for a limited time, the Rocket Rods once again sore through the skies like no other attraction before! We also catch Hyper Space Mountain a week before it ends its Season of the Force Overlay and reverts back to the Classic Space Mountain Attraction Disneyland Guests have come to love! A Day at Disneyland series is designed to showcase what we do when we spend a day at Disneyland, from when we arrive at the parks to what rides we experience first to make our day at the Happiest Place on Earth as efficient as possible!
