Exactly what it says on the tin...
No joke, this is what Lost Episode Creepypastas are made out of, with the blood curdling screams from Ned alone done by Courtland Mead (who was a child actor at the time). I came across this randomly on YouTube, which featured an early cut of the Nightmare Ned episode "Steamed Vegetables" (link down below), which had over a minute of footage removed when ABC rejected the subject matter (exp: the tomato splatter looking like blood), resulting in the studio rewriting and animating a more appropriate ending to conclude Ned's nightmare that would be acceptable for broadcast. Since the early cut only had the voice track included, I thought it would be fun to add my own sound effects and music to the video; I ultimately settled on using production music from SpongeBob since it weirdly fit.
As for the video itself, some of the sound effects we're found on YouTube or https://www.soundeffects.fandom.com, such as the Jurassic Park and the Monster Roar soundbytes (the latter of which is most well known from the Tom and Jerry short "The Milky Walf"). The "eye bulging" sound at 0:35 was from "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie" when SpongeBob and Patrick realize that their "mustache's" were fake. I also removed or even sped up some of the footage during the dream sequence for better timing, as the early cut would sometimes linger on a short for a bit; this is definitely noticeable if you notice the timestamp on the upper-left side. Since the early cut had some loud white noise when the character's weren't talking, I also used Vegas Pro's "Audio Restoration" to soften it down so it wasn't nearly as loud during the dead spots.
The only real work I found was near the end of the video where I cropped Ned's eyes and mouth to make him scream. Otherwise, this was one of the easier videos I've edited recently.
