Tim Bomdog is a standup poet, musician and performer who trained as a psychiatric nurse and currently works for the Leicestershire NHS, including the ground-breaking project Showcase Smoothie, which supports and mentors young men with experiences of mental illness to write and perform and share their work and creative expression with the public. He is a regular performer and active cultural activist in Leicester and other parts of the East Midlands.
