UniverCity: The Wisconsin Idea & Local Government Innovation Partnerships
Local governments always want to innovate to address the needs of their residents, but they need thought partners who can do that with them in a collaborative fashion. With the Wisconsin Idea as a guiding light, UW-Madison has talent that could be better leveraged to help these communities tackle their most complex issues. Fellow Rotarian and managing director of UniverCity Alliance GAVIN LUTER will discuss a new effort at UW-Madison aimed at leveraging teaching, research, and service to benefit local governments in Wisconsin. This presentation will be in partnership with Stoughton Mayor TIM SWADLEY to highlight the Innovation Center Stoughton.
