D Line Extension 1, 2 and 3, Construction Update meeting. Metro is pleased to share that Section 1, including the new Wilshire/La Brea, Wilshire/Fairfax, and Wilshire/La Cienega stations, is scheduled to open on May 8.
This milestone will extend subway service farther west, improve travel times, and provide stronger regional connections for residents, workers, and visitors.

Construction activities for Section 2 and 3 will continue through summer and fall 2026.
