What happens when you give students real tools, real machines, and real responsibility? At Silverson, we believe in showing the next generation what engineering is all about.

During our Skills Week, students from local schools had the opportunity to explore our factory, learn how to use lathes, mills, and drills, and build their very own Da Vinci-style catapults. Along the way, they worked closely with our apprentices, many of whom took part in Skills Week themselves not long ago.

From understanding the importance of precision to embracing teamwork and learning from mistakes, every student left with new skills, stronger confidence, and a clearer view of what a future in engineering could look like. 💡🔧
