This video is basically about the formative pruning in a tree's early years that decides what the tree's essential scaffolding/framework will be. This particular tree was a typical pyramid shape. I decided to convert it to an delayed open centre bush and explain how a few more saw strokes will give a half standard instead.

Pyramids tend to be the shape of choice in modern orchards, I prefer open centred bush or half standard trees. I hope the video makes sense.
