Apple just unveiled the iPhone Air, and their big selling point is… it’s thin. That’s it. Thinnest iPhone ever. Apparently Apple thinks shaving millimeters off a phone = innovation.

Yes, it’s got the A19 Pro chip, a massive camera hump, some pro-level camera tricks, and comes in shiny new colors. But at $1000, you’re basically paying for a thinner iPhone with worse ergonomics and a purse strap accessory nobody asked for.

Does making the iPhone thinner really improve anything—or is Apple just out of ideas? Let’s talk about why the iPhone Air might be the dumbest iPhone in years.
