Can Apple’s new Studio Display XDR actually work as a PC monitor for radiology? That’s exactly what I wanted to find out.
In this video, I unbox and test Apple’s first display with FDA-cleared medical imaging calibration and attempt to connect it to my PC radiology workstation using an NVIDIA Quadro GPU. From the setup process and Thunderbolt connection challenges… to image quality, DICOM calibration, speaker quality, and real-world workflow testing… this might be one of the most interesting monitor upgrades I’ve ever done.
