Apple is environmentally friendly.
Disclaimer: This is not just an issue with Apple devices, but all tech products. This problem mainly comes down to recycling companies not following the proper procedures in effectively recycling devices; and corporations making devices hard to service.
While Apple has had some "bad design" choices (such as AirPods with batteries that are extremely hard to replace) these bad designs have also occurred with many companies. A perfect example of this, would be the Microsoft Surface Laptop (1st Generation).
The issue of needlessly destroying devices has a lot of people (and companies) involved. We hope that change can occur, to give ourselves a greener planet and a better tomorrow.
