Solutions to resolving iPad not responding to touch but responding to Apple Pencil:
1. Clean your screen.
2. Take off your screen protector. Switch it for another (this can potentially work)
3. Update IOS.
4. Change the touch sensitivity of your iPad in the settings
5. Switch to a different stylus and see if the problem persists (if you have another stylus available)
6. Contact Apple.
