Apple II Peasant's Quest now has support for AGI-style priorities, allowing collision and depth with scenery (can go behind things). We use lo-res to hold the priority info which isn't as granular as you might like, but saves 7k of valuable RAM.
Also most of Peasantry is now drawn.
