Similar to the later arcade game Space Zap, Laser Turret is an early shoot-em-up game. The player must fire at the force shields that emerge around a stationary laser turret in the center of the screen. Each shot uses up one of the player's fifty energy units. The objective is to shoot as many force shields as you can, and the game continues until all energy has been consumed or the time runs out. A paddle is used in the game to move the sight. The game can be made more difficult by using two paddles to control the inner and outer sights, which must line up in order to fire.
