A short presentation of Apple Galaxian, published by Brøderbund for the Apple II in late 1980.
Tony Suzuki’s Apple Galaxian was one of the first Japanese Star Craft titles to be published by Brøderbund when released in December of 1980. With 5,000 sold copies in its first month, the game helped a struggling Brøderbund overcome the financial challenges that had haunted the company ever since its inception.
Due to potential legal issues, the title was renamed Alien Rain in the spring of 1981.
Over the next year, a number of Japanese-produced titles were published by Brøderbund, before the relationship with Star Craft ended.
